Early start at 6 to leave Paris. Arrived around 8:30. Silent Walk. Student service. - a bit of rain ands wind - toured Memorial and trnches - rain and wind for the next 4 hours. Supper at the Stadium and then the bands came on stage and all was forgotten. Doing this at 1am, so more later.
Hey Parker Students. I'm enjoying your blogs of your tour. Just watched the news and saw some coverage of the Vimy ceremony in France. Looked blustery and cold, but it didn't seem to dampen the appreciation of the moment(?) Didn't see any Parker faces on TV but impressed there are so many young Canadians like yourselves coming face to face with an important part of our history. Hope your weather improves. (We have 20cm of new snow here!) Mrs. C
